Glaxo is introducing a higher-strength form of Retrovir (zidovudine, AZT)...300 mg tablets for BID dosing.
The original 100 mg capsules are usually given 2 caps TID.
The new tablets will be more convenient...especially for patients on the popular Retrovir/Epivir combo, since Epivir is also given BID.
