Continue to look for underlying causes if patients report ringing, buzzing, or other noises in the ears...earwax impaction, ear infections, etc. Refer to audiology to evaluate hearing loss...hearing aids may help.

Also look for potential med culprits...such as aspirin, NSAIDs, loop diuretics, PDE5 inhibitors (sildenafil, etc), and quinine or other malaria meds (mefloquine, etc). Consider dose, duration, renal function, etc.
